I’m hooked… I just love going to Iris and Dora for a little afternoon “me time”. Painting pottery is quite therapeutic! This time I had gone with my step-daughter to a ladies evening social painting session. She painted a bowl and I chose this little honey pot. Of course, I love rainbows, this honeypot had to be full of colour🌈
3 hours goes by in a flash once you lift your head from the relaxing zone you seem to find yourself in. Leaving behind the painted WIP’s the excitement builds to see the finished product – you have absolutely no idea what the glaze and burning process will reveal…
A week or so later, your number shows up on their Facebook page and its ready for collection. And voila, here it is ready to be used – they even gave me a honey spoon – how sweet! 😊
